science classroom through active integration
of current and state of the art
technologies that foster a greater understanding of
science and support a learning community for science educators.

unit of MSIT values the collaborations with the science
departments at GSU, and places importance on content
knowledge in preparing new teachers.

and appropriate research in the teaching, learning,
epistemology,
philosophy and history
of science and science education through professor-initiated
and/or doctoral student-initiated investigations.
